Reiki level 1: The Gift of Reiki

Reiki 1st degree - suitable for all!

Reiki is simple to learn at level 1 and can be helpful for anyone and everyone; it is primarily for the self, but also enables the student to give Reiki to their loved ones and their pets. Also ideal for those who have poor health or chronic illness and wish to self-treat, or for those who are Carer's for loved ones.

Includes 2 days (consecutive) class contact, followed by gap (4-6 weeks) for students to complete their journal, then one further half day attendance (optional) to review journal , go over any areas of concern, for a reiki treatment, and to receive your certificate.

The reiki journal is used to record how you feel with your reiki journey: self-treatments, and any treatments given to family members, and to help the student to start to become familiar with how Reiki energy is helping their own self healing and development. Reiki is first and foremost about our own healing.

The diary/journal only needs to be very simple, typed or written, and no worries about spelling etc - it's not an English course! I am here to help and support, not criticise, and everyone is different. It's about the reiki. For those who do not like writing/ have dyslexia - i am happy to have feedback in a conversation or recorded – however suits you. Please note: If you do NOT want to receive a certificate, you do not need to complete the journal. However entry to the Level 2 course will require a certificate (with any Master) – so it is worth it!

Poetry expresses the essence of a feeling or thought, and can help people to view things from a different perspective. This workshop is not about formalist or modernist poetry, or rhyming verse, it will be 'free' and unconstrained by any methodology.
